Birthday Celebration!

This cake is for a 50th birthday celebration, but also a celebration of life. She recently finished successful chemo too. Another one for a teacher from Teresa's old school. I was told colorful and given the words it should say.

It's a 2- layer 10in round triple chocolate fudge cake with a 2-layer 6" round on top. All the decorations are fondant. It's frosted in buttercream.

Bridal Cake

I got a call from a friend at Teresa's old school asking if I would be willing and able to make a cake for two brides at their school. YAY!!! I was thrilled to have another cake. I've been working on a groomscake, which will be really cool, but it's difficult. This was going to be fun! Sometimes it's nice to get exact instructions on what people want, but this time it was nice to be able to do what I wanted.

It's a 3 layer cake, chocolate, white, chocolate. With chocolate buttercream frosting. The bride is fondant, and the veil is glaze.
